My Nieces and Nephews - Entry March 25th, 2009

My sister-in-law has kids separate from the kids my brother already had along with the one they have together. Eventually I have to get to know them as well. 2 of them are teenagers so I have rarely seen them and the other two I haven't had a chance to talk to yet.

Can't help but wonder what to do if they God forbid end up not being together. If that does happen I guess playing it by ear will be the best remedy. At the end of the day I'm a real N*gga so if I develop any type of relationship with them then I will feel obligated to at least leave the door open for them to feel comfortable enough to come holla at me about whatever.
Man.. and what's really crazy is that I might have more "undiscovered" nieces and nephews out there. Guess I definitely need a house now, especially considering first time home buyers can get 8 stacks back right now!!

I haven't talked about the latest addition to the Nieces and Nephews total my youngest nephew Demarco. He's still a baby, but he has just as much personality has anybody else. You better make sure u feed him or all the playing and jumping around will cease and turn into crying. He likes to stare and he definitely likes to jump. I'm already working on his uppers so he can be dunking in Jr High. lol.

Being around babies for a short period of time will make u want one. Especially when u think about the process of making a baby (y'all know what I'm talking about). However most people that already have em aren't that interested in having anymore (especially women) which brings me to the question of the day. Am I wrong for having a preference of being with a woman who does not have kids? Am I limiting my "options"?

My Nieces and Nephews- Entry March 19th, 2009

The day after I took my nephew to the mall I went over my brother's house for a barbeque. My nieces quickly rushed me and demanded to know why I didn't take them too Krazy city too. I had to explain to them that everyone will get a chance to spend time with me, but right now we gonna hang out one at a time. It gets easier to talk to them every time I see them. A few weeks ago my niece Meesa actually spoke and gave me a hug(for the first time) when she saw me. She seems shy, but we all can be shy around people we don't really know.

Before I ate I had a chance to play NBA2K whatever year it was on Playstation 3 with my oldest nephew Marc. He whooped me pretty good. Now mind you, I AM a Monster when it comes to video games and especially sports ones. However, I don't have the game so I had to learn the buttons on the fly. (Sounds like an excuse, but it's real talk) Yet and still I was impressed by the fact that he whooped me pretty good and was talking BIG stuff while he was doin it. Had to give him his props, he was nice. Reminded me of a young Charles. He seems to be good at whatever he chooses to be good at. Definitely a gift and a curse, but I'm gonna make sure he makes it the former over the latter.

My Nieces and Nephews Blog. Entry March 17th, 2009

I've always wanted Nieces and Nephews. And until recently I didn't have either. What's recently? In the past 2 or 3 years I just met my nieces and nephews. It's so fresh I still have to get all of their B-days, the correct spelling of their names and get used to hearing the word 'Uncle Charles'. Last Saturday I took my nephew James to a place called Krazy City at a local mall. Chaos is probably a better word. Semi-organized Chaos City. I felt bad for him because he stood in line forever waiting to ride the go-karts and ended up getting sent back because he wasn't tall enough to ride alone. I probably should have waited in line with him. We still got to play plenty of games and he seemed to have had a good time though.

Earlier in the day I took him to a church function out in Woodlawn, Cincinnati for about an hour. It was a Father/Son dinner. The program was 4 hours long so we left early, but it was weird to look around and see the fathers and sons and realize I was there with my nephew, because I don't have any kids yet and his father apparently doesn't spend any time with him so I guess we both have voids to be filled.
